NOVAFRICA is accepting applications for a Research Associate position in Portugal.
We are looking for a Research Associate to be integrated into the following ongoing NOVAFRICA field research project:
Raising Educational Aspirations – An Experimental Evaluation (Lisbon, Portugal)
Start date: September 2023.
Duration: 4 months with the possibility of an extension.
Location: Lisbon – Portugal.
What you can expect: The Research Associate will be responsible for providing support in the implementation of a large scale randomized controlled trial concerning education in Portugal. Their primary tasks will involve planning and executing the necessary steps for a follow-up survey, ensuring its success.
Your profile:
- A bachelor’s degree in economics, management, finance, psychology or related fields.
- Master students in Economics, Management or Finance will be preferred (no need to have submitted thesis).
- Knowledge of experimental impact evaluation is preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- Working knowledge of Portuguese.
- Working knowledge of STATA.
